Is there really any loyalty amongst the Y Generation?
Meadhbh' s presentation shared six essential insights into Generation Y, and two very successful loyalty campaigns that were run which used Direct Mail and Text to reward tenure and drive increased revenue.

- Loyal to their tribes more than their brands
- Savvy & offer astute
- Times are hard, they still spend albeit cautiously
- Offer is critical in order to elicit a response
- Critical to harness different media in order to communicate the message
- Challenge for brands is to remain socially current and connected to their tribes

- For Direct Mail 1 in 3 Irish 18-34 year olds is encouraged to buy, that’s twice as many as for email and almost twice as many as for online advertising.
- 74% of 18-34 year olds say receiving Direct Mail is a pleasure.
