The Early Bird Club Hamish Taylor

An Post were delighted to host the 4th in its series of the Early Bird Club

14/04/2010

An Post was delighted to welcome over 100 of Ireland’s top Marketing Industry stakeholders to Early Bird Club IV on Wednesday 14 April. The Early Bird Club is a series of high level briefings for senior management. The 4th in the series invited L'Ecrivian's Derry Clarke to give his take on the Irish Breakfast and Hamish Taylor the Master Thief.

Hamish Taylor, The Master Thief

P&G trained, Head of Brands at Brisith Airways, CEO of Eurostar and CEO of Sainsbury's Bank, and all before he was 40, Hamish is renowed for his track record in taking something from here and making it work sensationally there. Take Sainsburys Bank for instance, where Hamish borrowed enough outside thinking to increase profitability from £2.6million to £23 million in the space of just 18 months.

His presentation, amongst lots of other great business insights, showed us how he did it and in doing so, explained in more detail why he has been crowned by the Inspired Leaders Network with the somewhat unusual title of “Master Thief”.
