STEP 1

When a particular opportunity is advertised, register your interest with the Regional Operations Manager named in the advertisement.  He or she will provide details about the business opportunity, explain the requirements, supply you with an application form, and give you guidance on the process. 

STEP 2

Once you have spoken to An Post and are satisfied that you have the skills and resources to meet the requirements, complete the application form, including your personal details, your business proposal, and details of the proposed premises. 

STEP 3

Suitable candidates will be invited to interview with An Post, after which a decision will quickly be made.  The entire process from Step 1 to the opening of the new Post Office typically takes in the region of three months.
