Despite no stage wins, Gullen was very consistent throughout the week, securing the yellow jersey on stage five and defending it right up to the final stage. Przemyslaw Kasperkiewicz was the stage eight winner in Skerries, giving the An Post Chain Reaction team their third stage win of the week. The 22-year-old from Poland added the stage win to his King of the Mountains jersey. Kasperkiewicz came home the strongest from Samuel Jenner (Australia National Team) in second and Jerome Mainard (France Armée de Terre) in third.
  • Meijers Battles Through Rain to Take Stage Seven of An Post Rás Meijers Battles Through Rain to Take Stage Seven of An Post Rás  27 May 2017 The penultimate stage of An Post Rás finished in the hands of the Netherlands Delta Cycling Rotterdam team with Daan Meijers taking the win from teammate Jan Willem Van Schip. Stage five winner Regan Gough (An Post Chain Reaction) came home in third with Darragh O’Mahony (Ireland National Team) finishing best of the Irish riders in fourth.

The 23-year-old sprinted to the line to give the French team their first stage win of the week.

  • Aussie Storer Storms To Victory As Irishman Teggart Becomes New Race Leader Aussie Storer Storms To Victory As Irishman Teggart Becomes New Race Leader  24 May 2017 Michael Storer of the Australia National Team took an emphatic solo victory on stage four of An Post Rás into Buncrana today. Storer crossed the line one minute and fifty five seconds over second place Jacob Sitler (USA CCB Velotooler) with Morgan Kneiskey (France Armée de Terre) claiming third spot. Yesterday’s stage three winner, Irishman, Matthew Teggart finished just on Kneisky’s shoulder, topping the general classification (GC) and becoming the new yellow jersey leader.
