Do you ship outside of Ireland?

Yes. We ship worldwide.

 

How long will it take to ship my order?

Orders placed on our website are usually shipped within 2-3 working days.

 

Do you have special wedding stamps?

Yes. Each year, usually in January, we issue a new booklet of 10 self adhesive wedding stamps.  The 2012 Wedding Stamp is now available to purchase.


I can’t find a stamp or first day cover in your stamp shop.

Commemorative stamps are only available for a period of one year from the date of issue.
 
First day covers are only available for 28 days from date of issue.

 

I don’t have a credit card. How do I order Irish stamps?

You may place a mail order with the Philatelic Bureau, Order Dept,
P O Box 1991 GPO, Dublin 1. Payment can be made by:

  1. Cheque/bank draft in euro drawn on a bank in the euro zone.
    (Euro cheques and drafts, over €275, drawn on a non Irish 
    bank will incur bank charges). 
  2. Cash (Euro, Sterling and US dollars) - by registered mail only.
  3. Cheque in US dollars drawn on a US bank.
  4. Cheque in Canadian Dollars drawn on a Canadian Bank.
  5. Cheque in Sterling drawn on a UK Bank.
  6. Euro Giro Service – Check with you local Postal Operator.
  7. Bank Transfer using the following details:

I have a collection of stamps, how do I get it valued?

Irish Stamps does not valuate stamps or collections. We recommend that you find a reputable local stamp dealer or auction house. 

 

I have a suggestion for a commemorative stamp

Suggestions for commemorative stamps should be submitted, 2 years in advance, by post to the Philatelic Advisory Committee, GPO, Dublin 1, email
pac@anpost.ie or complete the online form on the Stamp Programme page.

 

What is a Collectors Account?

A Collectors Account allows you to set up a standing order for all or any of our listed products on the Collector Account application form. We will automatically send your selection directly to your home as they become available. 
 

What are the benefits of a Collectors Account?

Can I open a Collectors Account if I live outside Ireland?

Yes. You can open an account from anywhere in the world.
 

How much will it cost?

If you do not select the credit card payment option the minimum initial lodgement is €40. After that it is up to you and depends Stamps from Europa - International Year of Astronomy issue, 2009on exactly what you include in your standing order.

For example, to receive all Irish stamp issues and First Day Covers for a year will cost approximately  95 (€1.80 per week). 

 

How do I pay for my Collectors Account?

Your account balance is shown on each invoice you receive. You can top up your account, as required, online or by mail. For a complete listing of non credit card payment methods please see FAQ: I don’t have a credit card. How do I order?

Naturally, the credit card facility reduces your costs by doing away with bank charges for clearance of cheques and/or foreign exchange charges.


 

How do I open a Collectors Account?

To open an account all you have to do is complete the Collectors Standing Order form.
Indicate the quantities of each item you require and submit it to us.
