Olympic Stamps on Display in the An Post Museum

To celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games we have on display a number of previous Olympic Stamps. 

Colin Harrison designed two stamps depicting boxing and sailing to commemorate the 1992 Olympics which took place in Barcelona. We show the production process of the boxing stamp displaying photos, preliminary artwork, final artwork and stamp proofs.

Also on display is some of the original artwork for the 2004 Athens Olympics stamp, designed by Finbarr O’Connor.
