Limerick Post Office – Memories of Forgotten Times

This is the title of a new book written by Frank O’Connor, a retired Limerick postman and postal sorter, who has spent several years researching the postal history of Limerick city and county. It’s packed full of interesting details about the people and places of Limerick and the Post Office’s involvement in daily life over many generations. Frank has gathered together stories and photographs which will fascinate all who have an interest in the Post Office and in Limerick.
