Minister opens An Post's new Citywest Post Office
DUBLIN 22/10/2012: Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte today (Monday) officially opened An Post’s new post office in the Citywest Shopping Centre.
The Minister was joined for the occasion by the Chief Executive of An Post Donal Connell, Retail Director John Daly and the Postmaster at the new office businessman, Tim Crooks.
An Post’s Eastern Region Retail Manager Enda Kelly said ‘The new Citywest office offers a comprehensive range of services to local customers and Shopping Centre users. An Post saw the opportunity presented by the extension of the Luas line to better serve local customers and develop new business. We are delighted to be able to partner with Tim Crooks to open this service.’
Among the guests present on the day were children, parents and staff of the new opened local Scoil Niamh Community National School.
Among the services available at the new post office are, Billpay, Foreign Exchange, Passport Express, postfone, Top Up Mobile Phone and banking and financial services.
Monday is a red letter day for Post Office customers in Dublin 24 as An Post also opened its re-located post office in nearby Kilnamanagh. The new office is in a new improved location with a significantly larger office area with more counter positions and with disability access and counter facilities.
