go&pay – secure online payments for your customers.
Looking to broaden payment options for your customers? Unable to attract more customers because of online security concerns? Then go&pay !
How it works
go&pay - the new service from An Post, in partnership with allpay.net, lets your customers order goods online and pay offline at any participating Post Office by cash or Laser card.
This new service allows internet retailers to attract consumers that were previously unwilling to make purchases online due to internet security fears as they can now pay by cash. You also have greater access to consumers who do not have a bank account or credit card.
Benefits of go&pay
- Grow your revenue through having a wider customer base.
- New market segment- access to customers who previously were unwilling or unable to make purchases on the internet.
- Greater security online for your customers.
- Advantage over competitor websites who only offer card payments.
- Payment is confirmed before goods are released.
- Lower transaction fees.
Step by step

- The customer selects goods online at the chosen website.
- On the checkout page the customer clicks the go&pay icon to indicate this is their chosen payment method.
- Customer prints out the barcoded invoice.
- The customer takes the barcoded invoice to any Post Office nationwide and pays for the goods they purchased online using either a Laser card or cash.
- Confirmation that payment has been made is sent to the retailer.
- Goods are dispatched to the customer.
