BillPay at the Post Office:

What is it?

BillPay is An Post's free bill payment service. You can pay a variety of bills free of charge at your local Post Office including telephone, gas, cable, electricity, TV and Local Authority Payments. Check the full list of bills you can pay.

Why should I use it?
  • No handling charge - saving you money.
  • You get a detailed receipt each time you pay a bill - keep track of your payments.
  • Large list of bills accepted for payment - saving you time.
  • Use a single cheque to cover multiple bills to cut down on costs.

 

mybills.ie

mybills.ie is the free online service from An Post that allows you to pay and manage your bills online. 

Simply register your details and securely store your bill payment information online or make a one off payment. You will need your paper bill to refer to.  
After you register with www.mybills.ie you will be sent a PIN. You need your PIN each time you log on to pay your bills.

BillPay at PostPoint

What is PostPoint?

PostPoint is An Post's retailer network that allows you to pay your household bills, top up your mobile phone, buy international calling cards and stamps in shops nationwide where you see the PostPoint sign.

How can I use PostPoint?

You can pay in cash, but remember to take your bar-coded bill or payment card with you.

Why should I use PostPoint?

BillPay at PostPoint is:

  • Free - no cost for using the service, compared to Direct Debits, bank transfers or mailing payments.
  • Flexible- many retail outlets have 24 hour opening allowing you to pay anytime of the day. 
  • Fast - no delays - your payment is with your service provider overnight.
  • Full control over your payments - you canfull pay or part pay a bill at any time

What is Household Budget?

Household Budget is service that allows people who receive certain Social Welfare payments to pay a regular amount towards various household bills by direct deduction from their payments. An Post operate the scheme on behalf of the Department of Social Protection.
