When you complete a transaction in the Post Office and earn loyalty points on your PostRewards fob and having registered it at you will be entered into a draw and be in with a chance to win this amazing prize!

How does it work?  

Everytime you complete a transaction at your local Post Office you will be entered in the draw to win one of the ten Hotel Breaks, provided you have registered your PostRewards fob online at

  • Earn loyalty points on selected transactions at the Post Office. Points earned will be automatically updated to your account.
  • You will then be automatically entered into the draw to win one of ten Hotels Breaks in Kilkenny

Terms & Conditions of An Post’s PostRewards Promotion to Win 1 of 10 Hotel Breaks.  

By participating in this promotion, you, the customer of An Post’s Post Rewards, agree to the terms and conditions below.

A. In these terms and conditions:
“An Post” means An Post having its registered office at GPO, O’Connell Street Lower, and Dublin 1;

“Entry Form” means the Win a Hotel Break for 2 Persons entry form to be completed by entrant’s online at

“the Promotion” is a customer rewards promotion provided by An Post to its Smart Reward account holders.

“Post Rewards” means the Post Rewards customer loyalty scheme provided by An Post, the details of which are on
B. To be eligible to participate in the competition, you must be a Post Rewards account holder

C. All eligible participants who completed the Entry Form between 3rd July 2017 and 1st September 2017 will be automatically entered into the competition.

D. The competition is open to anyone 18 years of age and over except employees, directors, officers or agents of An Post or family members of such employees, directors, officers or agents.

E. The competition closes on the 1st September 2017 entries received after this date will be deemed invalid.

F. An Post’s decision in relation to selection of the competition winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

G. The winning entries will be drawn randomly on the 4th September 2017. The winners will be notified by phone on the 6th September 2017.  Winners who do not claim the Prize within 5 working days of notification of winning shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and an alternative winner shall be selected by An Post.
There will be 10 winners of the competition selected at random from all of the valid Entry Forms received. One winner will receive a week end break for 2 Adults for 1 night on a Bed & Breakfast only basis – Mount Juliet Hotel Kilkenny and the remaining nine winners will receive a week end break for 2 Adults for 2 nights on a Bed & Breakfast only basis in one of the following Kilkenny hotels; Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny Ormonde, One Pembroke Hotel, Hotel Kilkenny, River Court Hotel, Langtons Hotel, Newpark Hotel, Hibernian Hotel and Butler House Hotel. Each winner will be informed of his/her particular prize on being notified of winning.
H. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

I. Booking dates are subject to availability and cannot be taken on bank holidays, mid-term breaks, Christmas, New Year or Easter. Once the prize is accepted the winner acknowledges that each hotel is booked subject to terms and conditions imposed by the hotel participating in the promotion.

J. The prize winner must avail of the prize any time up to 30th April 2018. The prize winner must give 4 weeks’ prior notice of the dates they wish to book. An Post reserves the right to change prize details without notice and all prizes, are subject to availability. Limitations and restrictions may be applied by An Post in respect of the dates available to the prize winner. Failure to attend for any reason whatsoever on the dates agreed and booked does not entitle the winner to an alternative break and the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited.

K. In order to claim the prize, the winner will be required to sign any documentation as may be requested by An Post relating to acceptance of the competition prize. By entering the competition entrants are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the competition. Any breach of these terms & conditions, as determined exclusively by An Post will result in disqualification.

L. The winner may be required to take part in promotional activities and An Post reserves the right to publish the entry, name, photograph and value of prizes paid to the winner.

M. An Post reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any person from the competition, to add to, amend or waive any rule without prior notice to the entrant and, in the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel the competition at any stage.

N. Neither An Post, nor its agents are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to the competition, fraudulent, late, misdirected, incomplete or altered entries; or entries which are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to technical or any other malfunctions.

O. Limitation on An Post’s Liability
By participating in the promotion, the entrant acknowledges that neither An Post not its agents are liable  for  any loss, damage or expense suffered by the entrant due to oversights or delays or failure in the provision of the prize or breach of contract or negligence in relation to the promotion.

P. Your Information:
An Post is careful to treat the privacy of its customers with care and due regard to the laws of Ireland.

The information, including personal data, contained on the completed entry form which you submit to enter the Competition will be used to run the promotion and to issue direct mail promotions and special offers by An Post and third parties. If you do not wish to receive such direct mail promotions please tick the box on your entry form.

Q.    Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
