Existing Postbank customers can continue banking at their local participating post office.
Over the coming weeks Postbank account holders will receive letters giving notice of the specific closure dates which apply to their accounts. All accounts will be closed on a phased basis from September 30 2010.

All deposits with Postbank remain completely secure. All Postbank deposits are covered up to an amount of €100,000 by the Deposit Protection Scheme, with amounts in excess of this covered by the Government Guarantee Scheme. If you have any savings with us, interest will continue to accrue until your account is closed.
