Finest Floral Stamp Artwork makes a show of itself!

May 9th, 2012:  Pictured at the opening of Irish Wild Flowers, an exhibition of original stamp art by renowned botanical artist Susan Sex, commissioned by An Post for the 6th series of Irish Definitive Stamps first issued in September 2004 are:

(L-R ) Mr Matthew Jebb, Director of the National Botanic Gardens; Internationally renowned Irish botanical artist, Ms Susan Sex; Minister Brian Hayes T.D. Minister of State for Public Service Reform, with special responsibility for OPW and Mr Barney Whelan, Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, An Post.

 

The exhibition is free to the public and runs daily from 10am – 5pm until June 10th at the Botanic Gardens Education and Visitor Centre.
