Culture Night 2014 at the GPO, Dublin

Celebrate Culture Night 2014 with a visit to the An Post Museum in Dublin’s GPO.

‘Letters, Lives and Liberty’ is a fascinating exhibition exploring the role of the Post Office in Irish life. Take a step back in time as the GPO marks the 200th anniversary of the laying of the first foundation stone by Lord Whitworth in 1814.

The iconic GPO will come alive with the passion of the Argentine Tango for Culture Night 2014. Dancers from the Dublin Argentine Tango Society (Dublin Tango) will perform in the Public Office from 7pm. Tango aficionados will be treated to the Latin sights and sounds of this stunning dance over the course of the evening.

Culture Night at the GPO takes place on Friday, September 19 from 5.15pm – 9pm.
