Culture Night 2016 at the GPO, Dublin – Friday, September 16

Celebrate Culture Night 2016 with a visit to the General Post Office and GPO Witness History.

The General Post Office – no tickets required

Visit the General Post Office and send a limited edition Culture Night 2016 postcard to friends and family both at home and abroad. The postage is paid courtesy of An Post.

The Public Office in the iconic GPO will come alive with music and song with a wonderful performance by the fifth and sixth year students from Malahide Community School. The students will perform extracts from A Night for 1916 which tells the story of the Rising through song and dance. With ballads such as The Foggy Dew and The Parting Glass, this is a show not to be missed!

First performance at 6.30pm.

GPO Witness History – tickets are free, pre-booking required

Tickets for the GPO Witness History Visitor Centre must be booked in advance. To book, please visit www.gpowitnesshistory.ie/events/ or www.culturenight.ie and go to GPO Witness History located in the North Georgian Quarter of Dublin.

Please note tickets are limited. Final GPO Witness History visit at 8pm.

Culture Night 2016 at the GPO, Dublin runs from 5.30pm to 9pm.
