We had a huge response from schools all over the country. The standard of handwriting by students entering the competition was superb. We asked you to test your handwriting skills and you really put in a great effort. Well done!

Prizes

By taking part you, your teacher, your principal and your school can win great prizes. 

  • By entering, teachers will go into a draw for a luxury weekend away for two to the value of €300.
  • Winners are chosen based on class participation.

Overall National Winners

The overall winner in Category One and Two will win:

  • A VIP Class Pass to the new GPO Witness History Visitor Centre in the GPO
  • €50 One4all gift card for the winning pupil's entry
  • €50 One4all gift card for the winning pupil's teacher
  • €50 One4all gift card for the winning pupil's principal  
  • A Special Award will be made to one overall winner and one regional runner-up will also be selected

Regional Runners-up prizes

Four regional runners-up in each category will win:

  • €100 cash prize for the school
  • €25 One4all gift card for the runner up pupil
  • €25 One4all gift card for their teacher
  • €25 One4all gift card for their school principal

Closing date

The deadline for entries is Friday, February 10, 2017 so get posting.

Categories

  • Category one: First year, second year, third year 
  • Category two: Fourth year, fifth year, sixth year
  • Special award: Special needs class entries and entries from students with a special need
