An Post UEFA Europa League Competition

Win Tickets to the UEFA Europa League Final*

The magnificent UEFA Europa League Trophy will be on public display at the GPO from: Tuesday April 26th – Thursday April 28th. 

COMPETITION

To celebrate the visit of the Trophy to the GPO, An Post has 5 pairs of tickets for the UEFA Europa League Final on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, to give away to five lucky customers.


To enter this competition simply pick up a copy of the entry form from the GPO on O'Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1. Complete the form fully and leave it in the designated competition box in the GPO (beside the Cuchulainn statue).


       
This competition is being run in association with the local organising committee (The FAI and Dublin City Council) 

*TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The competition is open to anyone 18 years of age and over except employees, directors, officers or agents of An Post or family member of such
    employees, directors, officers or agents.

  2. The promoter of the competition is An Post, having its registered office at the GPO, O’Connell Street, Dublin 1. 

  3. Those who wish to enter the competition must complete an official entry form with their answer, name, address, phone, email and signature.  Official entry forms are available only in the GPO, O’Connell Street, Dublin 1.

  4. Entry forms must be placed in the competition entry box (beside the Cuchulainn Statue) in the GPO, O’Connell Street, Dublin 1. The competition closes on Monday 9th May 2011, entry forms received after 5pm on this date will not be accepted. Copy entry forms or entry forms delivered into anywhere other than the designated competition entry box in the GPO will not be accepted.  Persons may enter as often as he or she wishes provided that each entry is on an official entry form.

  5. The promoter will hold the entrant’s personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and, if the entrant has not opted out, for direct marketing of the promoter’s goods and services.

  6. Entry forms which are incomplete or illegible will not be accepted. Entry forms on which more than one person’s name appears will not be accepted.  No responsibility will be accepted and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of entries, whether the correspondence relates to claims of entry forms being lost or delayed in the course of transmission or otherwise. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt.  Entry forms will not be returned.

  7. Only one name is permitted on entry forms and winnings will be allocated to the person in whose name the entry was made. The winner may be asked to provide documentary proof of their name and address. The use of a false name or address by an entrant will disqualify them from winning.

  8. The winners of the competition will be drawn from the all of the entry forms received with the correct answer to the competition question. ‘Name one of the clubs that qualified for the Semi Final of the UEFA Europa League 2011?’

  9. Entries will be drawn at 4pm on the 10th May 2011. All winners will be notified by phone by 5pm on the 11th May 2011 and in writing by Friday the 13th May 2011. Winning prizes will be issued by An Post Registered post. 

  10. There will be 5 winners of the competition. Each winner will be awarded a pair of tickets to the UEFA Europa League Final on the 18th May 2011. These tickets are not transferable. 

  11. An Post will not be responsible for any additional expenses which the winner incurs whilst attending the ticketed event. 

  12. By entering the competition entrants are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the competition. Any breach of these terms & conditions, as determined exclusively by the promoter, will result in disqualification.

  13. The promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the competition.

  14. The winner may be required to take part in promotional activities and the promoter reserves the right to publish the entry, name, photograph and value of prizes paid to the winner.

  15. The promoter reserves the right in their absolute discretion to disqualify any person from the competition, to add to, amend or waive any rule without prior notice to the entrant and, in the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel the competition at any stage.

  16. This agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
