An Post AddressPal is the proud new sponsor of Xposé which airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 8pm. The multi-platform sponsorship deal was brokered by Livewire and includes broadcast and digital sponsorship, branded content and in show promotions. The twelve month sponsorship runs to the end of October 2018.

1st June 2017: The founding of Lions Clubs International, one hundred years ago, is celebrated on An Post’s new international postage stamp. The €1.35 stamp which covers standard letter postage anywhere in the world, was designed by Dublin company Red Dog and features a photograph from the annual Lions Holiday Project in 2016.

Dublin, 25th May 2017: In its Annual Report for 2016, published today, An Post reported a €15.6m pre-tax loss for the year. Revenues of €825.7m were in line with the prior year (€826.1m) due to strong performances by An Post’s subsidiary companies, General Election mail revenue, and a 3% price increase. But costs grew by €18.4m to €839.3m due to one-off costs and the impact of the Labour Court pay increase of 2.5%, costing €8.9m in 2016.

The 2017 An Post/INTO Handwriting Competition, national awards took place in GPO Witness History today, Thursday 6th April. The An Post/INTO Handwriting Competition asked children to put their best handwriting on show. The competition has made a big impact on schools this year with over 50,000 children putting their handwriting skills to the test.

The standard domestic letter rate for items up to 100g within Ireland will increase from €0.72c to €1.00 while the standard international letter rate up to 100g will rise from €1.10 to €1.35. Increases of between 12% and 39% across the full range of mail services are necessary for An Post to continue to meet its Universal Service Obligation.
