Stamp Salutes Peacekeeping Anniversary

 A new 55c stamp commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Defence Forces’ involvement in Peacekeeping was unveiled by Taoiseach Brian Cowen, Minister for Defence Willie O’Dea and An Post Chairman, John Fitzgerald as part of a special anniversary event at McKee Barracks, Dublin today.

Designed by Paul Raftery, the stamp features a photograph of five members of that first mission to Lebanon in 1958.
